It was a beautiful crisp Winter’s morning at the Lagoon on Hove Beach. Emily had contacted me to as she wanted to get some natural unposed shots of her and her daughter Arya. As is always the way when you are a parent you have a million photos of your child but none of the two of you together. The aim was to capture some of the two of them together in the place that they spend so much time. Mostly when the sun is shining! It was very cold, but there was plenty to keep Arya distracted on the beach. We listened to shells, knocked on the beach huts, ran away from the water and of course found time to have cuddles with mummy.
Arya was a total natural and happily did an array of faces for me. It was great fun to hang out with them for an hour. All the fab zapped poor Arya’s energy and she was looking forward to a hot bath and a nap when she got home!

I loved our photo shoot with Natasha, despite the freezing cold December weather! It is just me and my daughter and so we have a very loving relationship but like most mum’s I take all the pictures so am not in them. I really wanted some photographic momentos of how we are together. I didn’t want the posy backdrop screens and fake smiles – I wanted picture of the two of us playing around and being together. That’s exactly what I got with Red Pebble! The images I was sent after the shoot was exactly as we are day to day with each other and it makes them more than good pictures – they will be what I can look back on as how we were when my daughter was young and the way we were with each other. Natasha was wonderful with me and my daughter on the day and she broke through her shyness quickly so we ended up having a fear time and although it was rainy and freezing cold the pictures didn’t show that. They totally encapsulated who we are. We received incredible pictures that I will treasure them forever. Natasha took time to get to know us and then transferred that to the pictures and I couldn’t be happier. Plus it was Christmas season and she got us those pictures so quickly. I would recommend Red Pebble to anyone who wants great shots that capture a life with the ones you love, just how it is, in the best light. Thank you
