Danai’s parents don’t live in Southwick, they had travelled down especially to have the photoshoot based on a recommendation by their sister. I had photographed her beautiful baby, Olivia, the year before. So it was like a party in the Southwick house as many family members met Danai for the first time. It was wonderful to take photographs is such a wonderful atmosphere. Baby Danai slept through all the noise and was the perfect model.
Her mum had brought with her some adorable personalised headbands that she had been gifted. It was great to include them the photo’s. I had just the right shade wraps and blankets to go with them so it was perfect.
